Impromptu Singapore Trip + Haul

♫ Wiz Khalifa - See You Again ft. Charlie Puth

It was a sombre (and rainy) final weekend in March for Singapore, but it was a pretty good one for me, because an impromptu trip down South gave me the opportunity to pay my respects to my late uncle in Johor during 清明, meet up with several friends, enjoy some good food, and do a spot of shopping along Orchard Road.

Besides nomming my favourite Gindaco takoyaki and PB pudding, I also finally got to try the 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken which always had a long queue at ION. The chicken is really, really crispy and tender! Now I know why the line is always so long, haha!

Spotted these super kawaii Merlion Hello Kitty tins at Takashimaya and went ahead to take a closer look. Turns out they're nori (seaweed) chips by Yamamoto Noriten, packaged in super cute Hello Kitty tins. They were on offer S$18 for twin pack with box (usual price S$22), so I bit the bullet and bought them without much hesitation (especially after the lady told me they were exclusive to Takashimaya Singapore). #totalsucker
Now I'm wondering what design Hello Kitty will take if they ever decide to have a Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia version of these. (◑‿◐)

Nomming on the seaweed chips as I type this post, lol
I've always loved collecting cute/uniquely shaped water bottles, and these Hello Kitty bottled water were definitely calling out to me at 7-11. They're the perfect size to carry around in my bag too! :D

A sweet treat that might seem really normal to the locals but something I always look forward to when in Singapore... Dark chocolate Kit Kat! MALAYSIA Y U NO SELL THIS?! (*`へ´*)ψ

Found some really good fashion bargains when window shopping. A super cute coral chiffon + lace skirt and a couple of rings from Forever 21 for only S$9!
Skirt marked down from $21 to $15 and finally $5!

Of course, I couldn't leave without checking out the cosmetics section at Watson's and Guardian. I was looking forward to getting the Sailor Moon eyeliner, and I was not disappointed. (。✪‿✪。)ノ

Saw the Catrice eyeshadow singles on sale at Guardian for $3.50 each so I picked this lovely plum shade, "Plum Up The Jam".

Stocked up on my favourite Essential shampoo and conditioner too. You can see this in practically all my Singapore posts, lol. The packaging changes each time I buy it (⌒_⌒;)

I absolutely love Bioré makeup removal products, so when I saw this new foam cleanser+makeup remover I just had to buy it. ಠ_ಠ

This Sephora Puckerlicious lip set has been waiting for me since last year when I asked Vonnie to help me purchase it. Thank you so much! ( ˘ ³˘)♥ The Singapore version of the Puckerlicious lip set is so much more awesome and value for money compared to the Malaysia one. (¬_¬)

Did I mention that their magazine GWPs are totally awesome too? Got a deluxe sample sized Laura Merceir foundation primer with Style magazine ($5.50) and a deluxe sample size Shu Uemura cleansing oil with CLEO ($3.50).

Last but not least...
I bought Hello Kitty printed tissue paper. Yes, srsly. Don't judge me too harshly. I just really like Hello Kitty. (⊙‿⊙✿) And there was space in the car boot.
